The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has proposed its national convention to hold on May 4.
According to a tentative timetable obtained by THISDAY in Abuja wednesday, the party’s congress is being planned to hold between March 24 and April 16.
Meanwhile, the party has approved the appointment of Inusa Mohammed as Principal Secretary to the National Chairman, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff.
In a statement by the National Secretary, Prof. Adewale Oladipo, it also approved the appointment of Chief Uche Nnaji as the Political Adviser to the National Chairman; Senator Saidu Umar Kumo, Special Adviser on National Assembly Relations and Senator Ighoyota Amori, Special Adviser, Reconciliation and Conflict Management.
