Sunday Oliseh has quit as Nigeria’s football coach after claiming violations of his contract and receiving too little help from the national federation for next month’s crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations clash with Egypt. The Nigerian government has removed nearly 24,000 workers from its payroll after an audit revealed they did not exist, the Finance Ministry has said.
